The shareholders had consented to reduction of share capital at the EGM held on September 10, 2004.The petition was listed for hearing and final disposal on March 18, 2005 and the Honorable Court was pleased to sanction the same. Accordingly the paid-up share capital of the company will stand reduced upon filing of the order with Registrar of Companies Maharashtra. The face value of the share of Rs.10 will be Rs.5 and record date for the same will be decided at the earliest. Members of the Exchange are hereby informed that, the Amit Spinning Industries Ltd. has fixed Book Closure dates for the purpose of Reduction of Share Capital. Members are advised not to deal in the equity shares of the company with effect from the undermentioned date.
