Coal India Q4 results miss estimates; stock gains!
Shares of Coal India Limited (CIL) gained over 2 percent on May 3 even as the company's earnings for the quarter ended March 2024 missed Street estimates. Despite the disappointing earnings, brokerages maintained 'buy' rating on the stock as they believe that coal remains the dominant fuel in the foreseeable future even as the world is trying to switch to renewable energy.

KEI Industries stock rises as Q4 impresses Street
Shares of KEI Industries Limited traded over 2 percent higher to Rs 4,102 on May 3 after the company clocked a profit of Rs 168.5 crore during the quarter, up 22 percent from Rs 138 crore in the year-ago period. At about 10 am, shares of the company were trading at Rs 4,047, up 1.5 percent from the previous close on the NSE. The shares have rallied 25 percent since the start of the year.
