Reported Consolidated quarterly numbers for Shyam Metalics & Energy are: Net Sales at Rs 3,606.20 crore in March 2024 up 6.69% from Rs. 3,380.08 crore in March 2023. Quarterly Net Profit at Rs. 216.54 crore in March 2024 down 17.09% from Rs. 261.18 crore in March 2023. EBITDA stands at Rs. 492.73 crore in March 2024 up 10.9% from Rs. 444.32 crore in March 2023.

Vedanta, Tata group to scout for lithium mines in Zambia, Congo
Private sector companies such as Vedanta Ltd, Tata and battery tech startup Lohum are planning to go to Zambia and Congo in June to study potential lithium exploration opportunities, a senior officer in the ministry of mines has said. Ministry officials will accompany executives of these firms during their visit to the south African countries, mines secretary VL Kantha Rao said on May 15.
