1. Growth Path
a) Professional Growth: There is a clear roadmap to progress and advance in the organizational structure wherein associates find both vertical and lateral advancements in their areas of core competencies and interest. Each associate gets a mutually accepted set of deliverables which he has to carry out with his ability to conceptualize, strategize and execute within the defined parameters. There is a performance management system which enables transparent evaluation of the efforts put in by each individual on a constant and yearly basis. 3. Leadership development
There is a huge amount of investment in terms of money, training, effort and time to groom deserving associates to assume higher level position. Around 5% of the salary bill is spent on learning initiatives. There has been a constant, rapid and large growth in terms of adding more businesses and having presence across geographies. This has brought out the need to have effective leaders who would assume these positions. Training in terms of advisory, effective sales, execution abilities, leadership development, process training is a constant phenomenon based on the need. Associates have been exposed to the best of training programmes right from Lester Thurow, Stephen Covey, Ram Charan, De Bono, ISB, IIMs, XLRI etc.

Motilal Oswal being a learning organization there, is a sharing of all these learning with other member of the team which helps in accumulating and retaining knowledge. In fact working with the experts in the industry itself entails a lot of learning and grooming.

4. Empowerment and Entrepreneurship
Motilal Oswal believes in empowerment of it associates and encourages entrepreneurship talent. Many of our Business associates who started as a single outlet are multi location today and having expanded their business many folds.
